However, I won’t be buying one because of the lack of manual transmission.
I do like the reintroduction of a green color though.....

Also, there’s a vague possibility that I’ll be moving to the United Kingdom within the next five years. About 75% of my family lives/has lived there and I’ve got citizenship after all...

As good as S Tronic is, I’m just not interested in an automatic A4.

Meh, I personally think it’s not too bad. To keep their demographic, the cars have to be somewhat subtle though.
I just want three pedals.

Same, I really like the way it looks.
Audi has been doing great with interiors since the late 90’s.

If its is going use DSG, I might consider it. I love manual, and doing a prefect rev-match. I can’t hold onto a 100+ year old transmission design forever, maybe its my age showing but I might go auto for my next car.

I agree. Not having a stick is the single, exclusive reason preventing me from buying one. No other reasons exist at all. Nope, none at all.

Very much so. I can’t afford one, and I prefer nice DCTs to manuals anyways. All the involvement of a manual without turning traffic into leg day.

If you were to move to the U.K. then you can have a manual with a 1.4TFSI or 2.0TFSI motor in SE, Sport and S Line.
Though I suspect that if you wanted an Audi and to go native and get a hatch would be an A3 or if your 35 year old plus and wanted a five door would either be an A5 or A7.
I don’t know anybody who would even be interested in an A4.
A1 for young, A3 for older and young small family, A5 for 35 year old aspiring to more money but have something different to everybody elses A6 and peak at the A7 when older and more financially solvent.

Ye’, they are all tiptronic or S tronic for the Quattro.
I think it’s a VW thing that all four wheel drives are automatic of some sort (not fully checked but what I’ve come across so far).

Last RS4 wasn’t available with manual either (correct me if I’m wrong). So I don’t think the new one will have a manual.

B7 RS4 was available with a manual. B8.5 was not.
My statement above says I am not interested in a B9 that does not have a manual unless it’s an RS4 Avant...
